In 1992, the greatest basketball team of all-time was assembled: the Dream Team. However, before Team USA left for Barcelona that summer, the coaches arranged for them to scrimmage against a team of college all-stars - Penny Hardaway, Chris Webber, Jamal Mashburn, Allan Houston, etc. In the first scrimmage, the Dream Team half-assed it. The college kids won 58-52; Allan Houston hit 7 3-pointers. But, the kids made a mistake: they started to mouth off. They celebrated and trash-talked after winning. The next day, the teams scrimmaged again. Right before it began, MJ point a finger at Houston and said, “I got him”. Houston didn’t touch the ball for 2 hours. Jordan completely suffocated him. At the end up of the 20-minute scrimmage, the Dream Team was up by 38 points. Coach Daly wanted to extend it for an extra 10 minutes. Dream Team ended up winning by 56 points. Lesson? Don’t talk trash to Michael Jordan.
